What's better than a weekend getaway with a group of gals to Nashville? Absolutely nothing. I was beyond excited when I was invited to join a group of bloggers on a trip to Nashville, Tennessee for a weekend full of food, fashion, and of course - fun! Let me start off this post by saying, these girls are FABULOUS. I'm going to link each of their Instagram accounts at the bottom of this post, so make sure you check them out!

Our long weekend started on Thursday morning when Nicollette and I loaded up the car and headed on our way! After a 2 hour long car ride and a pit stop at Buff City Soap (which will be opening a location in Owensboro very soon) we arrived at Bode Nashville for our contactless check in! Bode messaged us an access code and we were able to check in to "The Quad" with ease. The Quad is a four bedroom suite complete with four king size beds and two xl twin bunk beds which was perfect for our large group!

We kept it casual on night one and enjoyed some pizza from Papa John's and a delicious charcuterie board compliments of Bode while we settled in to our home away from home! Nicollette, Katie, and I snagged the bunk bed room and every inch of free floor space. Let me tell y'all we did NOT pack lightly.

On Friday morning, Nicollette and I got up and got ready, and headed down to 12 South to make our first stop of the day at Five Daughters Bakery! Seriously, if you have never had their donuts, you have to try them ASAP! The donuts are flaky, delicious, and totally Instagramable! The bakery itself is adorable and has plenty of photo ops both inside and outside! Not only is Five Daughters Bakery super cute, the whole 12 South area is! There are plenty of murals in the area to snap pictures at and a whole lot of shops and businesses to stop by.

After returning to Bode with dozens of donuts to munch on throughout the weekend, the whole gang got ready for brunch at Hampton Social. I had never been before but had always heard amazing things about it! This is by far one of THE most Instagramable locations in Nashville! Not only is this restaurant absolutely adorable, the food is worth the visit as well! I ordered the "I Glitterly Can't" for the ~aesthetic~ along with the Avocado Toast as my meal. The toast was SO good aside from the fact that it had black olives on it...who puts black olives on Avocado Toast?! I also highly recommend splitting the fries at your table because those were addicting! Hampton Social is relatively pricey, but for the experience, I think it is worth visiting at least once!

Post brunch, we went back to Bode to change into comfy clothes and head on our next adventure. We were definitely tourists for the day as we made our way down to Broadway all carrying matching wine tumblers to do the Music City Crawler Pedal Pub Tour! (Contrary to popular belief...you DO have to pedal.) Ottis, our driver, and Paige, our bartender, were an absolute BLAST to be with! Paige kept the music bumping the entire time and Ottis kept spirits high with our "Red Light" cheers. We really loved the pedal tavern because it was a fun "Broadway" activity for us to do while still being cautious of COVID-19 guidelines! The pedal tavern was thoroughly sanitized before we got on and it was only our group of girls on there together!

I am still dreaming about our Saturday! First thing in the morning we all loaded up and headed to the Kendra Scott store, eek! The Kendra Scott Color Bar was such a fun experience for our group of gals! Each one of us had the opportunity to pick our own piece to create from a variety of earring styles, bracelets, rings and more! Once you pick your piece and hardware finish (they have silver, gold, and rose gold) you are able to pick from a huge selection of stones! I created a pair of earrings for myself but then designed a special piece for my mom for Christmas! This was such a fun girls day activity or a way to create customized gifts!

Immediately after leaving the Kendra Scott store, we went to Restoration Hardware for brunch! Who wouldn't want to enjoy brunch at a café in the middle of a furniture store? I wasn't in the mood for a full meal so I just ordered the French Fries with the Garlic Aioli and they were by far the most amazing fries I have ever had in my life. This is not even an exaggeration, they were THAT good. I would honestly drive to Nashville right now just to have those fries. After brunch, we wandered around the store for a little bit and then went on to our next destination.

We piled back in to the car and headed to the Molly Green Boutique headquarters where we had an amazing event planned with them! The wonderful gals at Molly Green pulled aside some of their newest arrivals and set up an entire photoshoot area for us with adorable backgrounds and props. There were racks upon racks of the cutest pieces and I had a blast getting to try everything on! Each time I put something else on, I was like, "Yup, this is going home with me." Fast forward to now and I'm currently anticipating a large box of goodies I ordered from them to be on my front porch any day.

After our try on session with Molly Green, we returned to Bode to change clothes and get ready for dinner. We had reservations at Nada Nashville and ya girl was HUNGRY. Before I even talk about how amazing the food was though, I just want to mention that the staff at Nada was incredible. They were so accommodating to our large group and really impressed us with their service. Now to the food - we wanted to try as much as we could so we ordered a variety of dips for appetizers and they were all SO good. I honestly would have drank their queso if it was socially acceptable to do! I had the pastor tacos as my main meal and they were delicious! I will definitely be returning to Nada the next time I'm in town!

With our weekend coming to a close, we headed back to Bode to clean and pack for our early departure. I had an amazing weekend with these girls and I am so glad we were able to coordinate this girls trip together! For a discount on YOUR next stay in Nashville, follow @thebodelife on Instagram and shoot them a direct message saying I sent you! They'll send you a discount code for your next stay! Staying at Bode was perfect for our group. Our suite was so spacious and welcoming and it felt like we were staying in our own house, not a hotel! They had an incredible courtyard with fire pits, couches, and fun activities! I think one of my favorite parts of our stay was having chill nights by the fire pit and just chatting with everyone! I'm going to link everyone's Instagram handles below and I hope you check them out!
