This past weekend I headed down to Nashville, Tennessee to take some senior pictures for my sweet cousin, Scout! She hasn't had her graduation ceremony yet due to COVID-19 but we went ahead and took some cap and gown pictures and even though absolutely NOBODY looks good in a cap and gown, she somehow pulled it off!
When I got to her house on Saturday, we went around town scoping out the cutest places to take her pictures at. We decided on two different parks in the area, The Park at Harlinsdale Farm and Marcella Vivrette Park. Both parks had plenty of different locations for pictures between buildings, barns, and lots of greenery!
Sunday morning we got up and headed out to our photoshoot. We stopped by The Park at Harlinsdale Farm first because we knew it was a hot spot for photoshoots and would get extremely crowded as the day went on. The Harlinsdale Farm has beautiful white stables you can take photos in along with other buildings scattered around the property. Here are a few photos taken in the stables:
After we got what we needed at the stables, we headed over to a few buildings located on the property. There was what seemed to be an abandoned house with some stone steps which were perfect for incorporating other poses. The door at the top of the stone steps was faded with with some paint chipping and looked great as the backdrop for some of the close ups I did there.
When we left the Park at Harlinsdale Farm, Scout changed into a simple college tee and jean shorts for some photos with her cap and gown. We headed to Marcella Vivrette Park next so we could take photos around the Ravenswood Mansion, which is absolutely gorgeous. Check out the slider below for shots at the Ravenswood Mansion:
